T.I.C. (29/5/05) -
Encouraged with the successful operation of "Imam Hussein (as) Qardhul Hasanah
Project" with Madrassah teachers, Dar-ul-Muslimeen has launched the same Qardhul
Hasanah Project also with the members of "Tanzania Ithna Ashariyah Community (T.I.C.)
in Dodoma.
Educating the Shia participants on
"How to operate small business successfully", Ustadh Faya Hashim, the manager of
the Qardhul Hasanah project, emphasized on how the Prophet (saww) guided his
early followers on both spiritual and economic aspects. Due to the able
leadership of the prophet, the destitute and deprived early Muslims became the
rulers of the Arabian Peninsula within a short period of 13 years, he informed.
T.I.C., Dodoma could be an example and role model for other local Shia
communities if the motto of T.I.C. - Elimu, Kazi and Ibada - is implemented with
sincerity and solidarity, he concluded.
The above meeting which was held
on Sunday 29 May 2005, was attended by 43 Shia members. There are over 100 Shia
families in Dodoma municipality among whom 93 are registered T.I.C. members.
About 40 shia families are going to benefit from this Qardhul Hasanah project.
