Masjid Imam Mahdi (af) is located at the compound of

Dar-ul-Muslimeen Education Center, at Makole Area, Dodoma Municipality. It is also near to the College of Business Education, National Vocational Training Center and the Parliament Building.

Masjid Imam Mahdi (af) serves as a spiritual, educational and praying Center mainly for the students, teachers, and the staff of all

Dar-ul-Muslimeen Schools, i.e. Dar-ul-Muslimeen Primary School, Al-Qaem Seminary (Secondary School), Dar-ul-Muslimeen High School and Teachers' Training College.

However, this small but beautiful Masjid also serves the Muslim neighbors including the Muslim students and teachers of the College of Business Education, National vocational Training Center as well as Muslim Members of Parliament who frequent the Masjid during the Parliament sessions.

Masjid Imam Mahdi (af) is unique in the sense that:

• Whether Shia or Sunni, all Muslim students, teachers, staff and neighbours of Dar-ul-Muslimeen pray together in this Masjid showing great unity and solidarity among the Muslims of Dodoma, a highly commendable achievement indeed.

• Dar-ul-Muslimeen Primary School is the only School throughout Dodoma region which has a Masjid in its compound.

• Dar-ul-Muslimeen Schools have Salat as part of the syllabus and daily time-table of the School, whereby all the students and staff are required to attend Jamaat prayers held at the Masjid.
