Prophet Muhammad (saww) said: “… and whoever performs an obligatory deed
in this month (of Ramadhan), shall receive the reward of performing
seventy obligations at any other time. It is the month of patience, and
the reward of patience is Paradise. It is the month of charity, and a
month in which a believer's sustenance is increased. Whoever gives food
to a fasting person to break his fast shall have his sins forgiven, and
he will be saved from the Hell-Fire, and he shall have the same reward
as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all.”
Ibn `Abbas, one of Muhammad’s Companions, narrated: “The Prophet was the
most generous amongst the people, and he used to be more so in the month
of Ramadan”.
Joining between fasting and giving charity leads to entering Paradise,
by Allah’s Blessings. The Prophet (saww) said, “In Paradise there are
rooms that their inside can be seen from outside and outside can be seen
from inside.” He was asked, “For whom are these rooms, O Messenger of
Allah?”
He said, “They are for he who soften his speech, feeds the people,
continues to fast, and prays at night while the people are asleep”.
With the grace of Almighty Allah (swt), once again Holy Ramadhan is
knocking our doors and we are blessed to hold the below mentioned
programs in this month of Ramadhan 1430 A.H. (2009 A.D.) as in the past,
Insha Allah. We kindly appeal to Mu’mineen to support these Relief and
Tabligh programs for the most needy and destitute amongst us in Dodoma.
This year is going to be a real challenge due to the steep rise in food
cost and increase of poverty among the Muslims especially in the arid
region of Dodoma, Tanzania. However, I am convinced that together, as a
community of committed servants of Allah (swt) and for His pleasure, we
will prevail and help those who need the most.
May Allah (SWT) bless you and your families for your continued support
to the programs that Dar-ul-Muslimeen undertakes and may He amply reward
you here and the hereafter. Amin.
Jazakumullah.
