This year 2008, Madhhab
Ahlulbayt (M.A.) Education Fund
granted sponsorship to 34
Primary and 16 Secondary School
needy students for their
education.
“We are grateful to Dar-ul-Muslimeen
for helping me pay the School
fees of my two children. Last
year I had to sell some of my
home furniture to pay the school
fees of my daughter Kaundime
Mayola who is studying Form
Three at Lukundo Secondary
School”, said Mama Tausi Ali, a
Shia mother living at Chang’ombe
Dodoma.
M.A. Education Fund which is run
by Dar-ul-Muslimeen in Dodoma,
Tanzania, aims at helping the
poor parents in paying the
School Fees and buy uniform and
stationeries for their children.
Although the fees and
contributions charged in the
Government Schools is meagre
compared to Private Schools,
still many parents fail to
oblige thus leaving their
children without any proper
education.
