  Alhaj Nisar Sheraly of WF visits Dar-ul-Muslimeen

CIRCULAR TO TEACHERS

 

RE: EDUCATION WORKSHOP BY ALHAJ BROTHER NISAR SHERALY (M.Ed),

ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CO-ORDINATOR,

ISLAMIC EDUCATION BOARD, WORLD FEDERATION, LONDON (UK)

 

Alhamdulillah, We are blessed with a special guest from London (UK), Alhaj Brother Nisar Sheraly (M.Ed), Islamic Religious Education Co-ordinator from Islamic Education Board of the World Federation, London (UK).

 

Brother Nisar has visited several Schools and Madrassahs in UK, Europe, North America and Africa to conduct workshops, seminars, surveys and interviews with teachers and Heads of Schools to exchange ideas about the delivery of education in a best effective method. He has 30 years of experience as a teacher, principal and curriculum leader in both Secular Schools and Islamic Madrassahs.

 

Brother Nisar will arrive in Dodoma on Thursday evening and conduct a Workshop with our Primary and Secondary School Teachers in Friday Afternoon. The Programme is as follows:

 

VENUE: - Hall of Standard Five and Six, Dar-ul-Muslimeen.

 

DATE: - Friday, 15.10.2004

 

THEMES: - 1) HOW TO BE AN EFFECTIVE TEACHER?

                    2) TEACHING IS FUN!

 

TIMINGS: - 2:00 p.m.

 

LUNCH shall be provided for all DIPS and Al-Qaem teachers at their respective staff-rooms.

 

TIMETABLE

 

2:30 p.m. - Arrival and Registration by the Participants.

3:00 p.m. - Holy Quran

3:05 p.m. - Introduction

3:15 p.m. - Address by the Chief Guest Brother Nisar Sheraly (M.Ed)

4:15 p.m. - Questions / Answers and Discussions

5:00 p.m. - End

 

The above programme is part of our Curriculum and In-service teaching programme for our respected teachers. Thus your participation is necessary for the development of the School.

I pray this mail reaches you in the best of your health and faith, specially in this glorious month of Ramadhan.

 

On behalf of Dar-ul-Muslimeen Education Center in Dodoma, I hereby write to express our gratitude for the visit of Alhaj Nisar bhai Sheraly in Dodoma, as Madrassah Co-ordinator of World Federation, accompanied by Alhaj Shabbir bhai Manekia, the Chairman of Tabligh Committee, Africa Federation. We greatly benefitted from this visit, their advices and specially from Nisar bhai's well-researched presentation at the one day seminar organised in our School.

 

We are running four Islamic schools in Dodoma namely: Dar-ul-Muslimeen English medium Primary School, Al-Qaem Seminary (Secondary School), Dar-ul-Muslimeen High School, and Dar-ul-Muslimeen Teachers' Training College. The teachers of the above schools participated in the above seminar and were highly impressed by the presentation, and hope that such programmes will be organised too often.

 

We pray for you, the organisors of this programme and Brother Nisar Sheraly that may Allah (swt) grant you success in all your noble endeavours and grant you ample reward. Amin.
